Pastor Luis describes himself as a simple servant of God. Since his birth in the island of Cuba, his family felt Pastor Luis was called for something special. As he grew up, it was clear his calling was for ministry, a calling he takes very seriously.
Pastor Luis received his B.A in Religion from Southern Adventist University and his M.A in Pastoral Ministry from Andrews University. He later obtained a second MBA from the University of Phoenix as a professional growth opportunity.
Pastor Luis enjoys reading, traveling with his family, long walks in nature and good food. His most enjoyable activity is to share the good news about the love of God with others in meaningful and practical ways.
Pastor Luis is married to Ruth Camps, a high school teacher, for the last 30 years. They have been blessed with two daughters, Jennifer and Elizabeth, now both adults.
